Hvar: A dream of purples

When Taiwanese think of lavenders, we think of a well organized, planted flower field in Hokkaido, Japan.  The lavenders in Hvar island, Croatia, tell a different story.

The field is casually separated by piles of stones.  Lavenders just scatter inside. The whole plant is probably waist-high. Those purple flowers grow wildly beside the shimmering sea of Mediterranean. It all looks so vibrantly and lively.
